Another non-dairy, incredibly healthy and delicious any-time-of-year smoothie:

1 1/2 cups hibiscus tea, frozen in ice cube trays               and then crushed
1/2 cup hibiscus tea or water
2 Tbs. elderberry syrup
1 Tbs. maple syrup
2 Tbs. wild blueberry smoothie powder
juice of 1/2 lime

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend on high for at least 30 seconds.

Not too sweet, just cool and refreshing!  If you don't have frozen cherries (we pit and freeze our own every summer from our two sour cherry trees), use fresh cherries and some ice cubes instead:

1 1/4 cups cranberry juice (unsweetened)
2 Tbs. maple syrup
1/2 cup frozen cherries
1 Tbs. wild blueberry smoothie powder

​Put all ingredients in a blender and blend for about 30 seconds.  Add more maple syrup or more smoothie powder, if desired.

Another easy, great recipe to make with the Wild Blueberry Smoothie Powder:

1 cup milk
1 frozen banana
1 peach (frozen or canned or fresh)
1 Tbs. wild blueberry smoothie powder
1 Tbs. maple syrup

Put all ingredients in the blender and blend for at least 30 seconds.

My son tells me that this is really just a "milkshake", not a true "smoothie."  It could or should have ice (and less milk) to be a smoothie.  I say, try anything!  You can't go wrong!

Here is a really quick and simple starter recipe for using the Wild Blueberry Smoothie Powder:

1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 Tbs. wild blueberry smoothie powder
2 Tbs. maple syrup

​Put all ingredients in a blender and blend together for about 30 seconds.
